Crissy - I’m from THE CITY! We wear footwear all the time (though I am somewhat famous among some of the staff at Northwestern for wearing rubber slippers in the snow). My dad is from Captain Cook (Kona), though, so I know what you mean.
Kahuku Photography - Life on the Big Island is magical, but you have to have a “go with the flow” mentality. I fit right in with my t-shirts and shorts.
Keao - Yeah, Crissy, at least you admit that you’re from the city. Kaneohe born and bred hubby, Scott, insists that he grew up country because he’s from Kaneohe. My family gets a good giggle from that. I didn’t know your dad is from Captain Cook!!! I gotta chat with the boy.
Keao - Oooh, definitely. I think I’ve lost a little of that “go with the flow” magic. A bit spoiled by TiVo and actually having cell phone service anywhere I go to on Oahu.
